26/03/08 The stormy weather didn’t stop business exhibitors and their invited guests from enjoying an action packed morning at the Mallory Park circuit. In less than 4 hours, approximately 250 people attended from over 120 companies, big and small, from across the region. Fortified by superb refreshments from Leicestershire based caterers “Taste inc.” guests were able to combine a great networking opportunity with several challenging experiences including:
• A high speed drive around the race track with an experienced driver plus a commemorative photograph.
• Participation in a safety driving challenge organised by “Drive to Survive.”
• Laser clay pigeon shooting.

Some notable celebrities also joined in with the networking including International rugby hero Freddie Tuilagi and previous Superbike Champion, John Reynolds. Several lucky guests won one of the many prizes on offer making their morning extra special.

Many of the attendees and exhibitors have reported that they made valuable business connections, resulting in new business. Evaluation responses from both attendees and exhibitors were very positive and bookings for the next event on October 7th 2008 are being registered.
